Holiday Fun at the Day School

There have been a lot of activities at daycare recently! Santa has come to visit, Justin's class visited the local news station, and they had a Christmas program at school! That doesn't include the holiday parties in the classrooms and the field trip Justin's class is taking to visit the Neiman's holiday tunnels tomorrow!

Justin ran up and told Santa what he wanted..and ran away...

Rudolph the huh? And Justin's version of "sharing"

Here are a couple of videos for you!

I love how Justin says "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" - it cracks me up every time. He also calls the Abominable Snow Monster the "Bumpy Old Snow Monster."

And I think Justin is "over" being trapped at home with baby brother. I dug out some old toys (they are like new again if you put them away long enough) and Justin was not a fan of Kyle's involvement in his play time.

Daycare is closed again today and Dave is stuck at home because his work is closed as well. Mommy is heading to work!

Ice Ice Baby

Work and school closed on Friday for storm "Cleon" - who names snow storms anyway?

We have pretty much been stuck inside- though Dave moved some branches and ice and escaped for a little bit today - and managed to get back up the driveway.

I'm just thankful we've had power- many in the area haven't! I can't imagine attempting to entertain Kyle in a hotel room..it's hard enough here. Maybe keeping the power on is Mother Nature's way of apologizing to me for February 2010....
