Easter Eggs!

Justin had fun hunting down the eggs this morning - and of course enjoyed the goodies in his Easter basket. He had a breakfast of champions today - Juice with Miralax, Peeps, Reeses' eggs and a real egg. I'm sure his pooping episode will be awesome today. Sigh...oh well.

Oh and on a not-funny note - Justin"tinkled" on the floor this morning. So obviously potty training is going pretty awesome. I had a hard time not laughing because Dave was out there yelling "Tanya, how do you want to handle this" and of course Justin started yelling "Tanya" from the other room. We made him clean it up..I really don't know when this potty training thing will stick. The minute I think we're making some progress he pretty much decides to revert to his old ways.

Enough potty talk - on to Easter photos:

He counted them  - correctly!

Thanks Aunt Kathy for the Peter Rabbit Book!

Where did March go!?

It has been one busy month- and April is not going to slow down for us. Dave and I have both been busy at work and our weekends have mostly been spent just trying to catch up around the house and spend some time with the kiddos!

I know typing this will just jinx me - but the sleep situation around here has been MUCH better recently. Kyle is now on more of a schedule and Justin has for the most part stopped climbing out of bed in the middle of the night. We've sort of figured out a morning routine (if Dave and I are both here- it's still a free for all if it's only one of us). I must say - I was sooooo run down - I'm not sure how much longer I would have lasted if the sleeping situation hadn't improved!

Here are some photos from our last couple of weeks!

We visited Mommy's office yesterday!

He is LOVING this game - Thanks Bonnie!

I'm biased- but how stinkin cute is this baby?

Dear Mom

Mom,
I really hope my pooping episodes were never as dramatic as Justin's. If so...I am so so so sorry...

Justin - 3 Year Stats

Justin's 3 year stats:

Weight: 33lbs 6 oz
Length: 38
Head: Well they quit measuring the head at 3 - much to Dave's disappointment.
BMI: This is what they measure instead of head..is is in the 55th percentile so he's good!

In other news- we get to start him on some Miralax to hopefully help him with is pooping issues - which should also help us with the potty training we hope.  I put big boy underwear on him yesterday and he proceeded to poop and pee in them twice.

He was a total whine-bag this week. Crying at everything - and one minute saying "I want my mommyyyy" and then the next "I want my daddyy"  - it was not a fun week. We stayed home yesterday and it seemed to help a bit to get back in our routine. Hopefully this week will be a better week..

Kyle - 4 Month Stats

My peanut is indeed a peanut!

Weight: 12lbs 3 oz (for comparison sake - Justin was 17lbs!)
Length: 25 1/4
Head: 16 3/4

Kyle's weight was less than 10th percentile so the Doctor recommended giving him more calories per bottle (more powder per oz) and switching him to Enfamil AR for his spit-up issues. We go back in a month to see how that's working.

Kyle also has a rash- which the doctor said looked like heat rash- but I'm not so sure. It flared up again this weekend. I sent pics and discussed it with our friend Shannon (MD) - and since there isn't anything else going on we pretty much just need to ride it out- hopefully it will disappear soon!

Thanks Mom-Mom, Pop-Pop, Lori and Carol!

We left the kids in South Jersey Friday and Saturday while we went to NYC for a night and then to Melissa's wedding. It was fun to get out and feel like "youngish" folks again! Hey- Mommy and Daddy are still capable of partying until the wee hours of the morning- who knew!?

Kyle stayed at Dick and Sue's  - and Aunt Carol came for a visit too. Justin stayed at Lori's and got to spend some quality time playing with Ethan!

Thanks for keeping the kids!! Hopefully Lori has some better photos that I can steal and post..but here are a few that I snagged with my phone.

Hey -we remembered how to have fun!

The only one I have with all smiles- though Ethan decided to squint his eyes..

Sue and Lori organized a birthday party on Sunday - for all of the February thru April birthdays we have! The boys enjoyed the cake! Thanks for hosting!!

The best one I have..great to see James and Hanna!
