One minute I have the sweetest boy and in a nanosecond he is whining and refusing to do things like take a bath. Tonight while snuggling with some books he looked at me so sweet an said I'm sorry mommy. I was wondering what I missed! He did it a few times. Maybe he's sorry for being unreasonable earlier tonight. Whatever it was I'll take it! It was so sweet and sincere!
He is definitely talking more and more. He is trying to speak in sentences and sometimes it sounds like complete nonsense and sometimes he is spot on.
He tries to get our attention constantly. The minute I start saying anything to Dave he says mommy mommy mommy. He also likes to be affirmed when he points something out. If he says airplane he will keep saying- mommy airplane, mommy airplane - until I say yes Justin I see the airplane.
He is fun - but he is also driving me crazy. Kudos to you stay at home moms. I don't know how you hear "mommy" and "no" a million times a day without pulling your hair out!

Breaking news...
Justin pooped in the potty last night! Justin wasn't that excited about it- he was more interested in the truck book he was reading at the time. He did get a bit excited to flush the toilet...so excited that then he peed all over the floor!
So- while this is a good first step - I think we have a long road ahead!

St. Patty's Day Haircut
Justin has been in need of a haircut for awhile but I have been putting it off because it is torture. Today was no different. He screamed bloody murder the entire time while kicking and swinging at me. I can't wait to be past this phase. We cut it short so hopefully we don't have to go back soon!
This afternoon we went to the Scheinrock's St. Patty's party and Justin enjoyed the bounce house!

Our Weekend
It's a Justin and Mommy weekend and we've just been hanging out and playing with cars, trucks, golf clubs, blocks and books. Lots of excitement here...
The Imagination Movers have a new CD so we're listening to some new tunes and Justin has a new favorite - Watermelon Meow Meow. He loves to dance to it and we have played it over and over and over this weekend!
I ordered one of Justin's class pictures - they combined the Toddler 1 and 2 classes for a photo and these are the kiddos he's been with on and off since the beginning. His current teachers are the second and third ones from the left - Miss Anita and Miss Angelica.
Of course the sun waited until 4:00 on Sunday to come out this weekend- so we didn't get to do much outside. Maybe next weekend!

Arboretum
We went to the Arboretum this morning - it's the first day of "Dallas Blooms" and the flowers are gorgeous. Justin has decided it's cool to wear sunglasses..not sure how he can see out of them with all of the fingerprints that are on them!
