Justin has been learning the Jenny Says lyrics - it's quite amusing to watch him sing it. I always tell him to "get crazy" during parts of the song- and he tells me "get silly" - and asks to listen to it over and over. I caught some of it on video this morning - along with his Jingle Bells concert and his story time with Kyle.

Can Grandma stay forever?

Grandma is in town and whipping this kids in to shape! Justin is wearing big boy underwear all day (except for sleepy time) - and though he is not pooping in the potty - I guess it's good that he's at least waiting until nap or bedtime and pooping in his diaper versus his underwear. And Kyle is sitting up!

Please Grandma - don't go home..or come back again soon. It's made this week so much easier not dealing with daycare dropoffs/pickups and coming home to a nice clean house with dinner ready...I'm so spoiled right now!

 leave us all the next morning to head to Tuscon- lol.

Sweet Sam was celebrating his 6th birthday -and mom her 60th!

Newsflash

We went to the observation area while waiting from Grandma and Tara to land - we will go back - he loved it!

And - Kyle is now on breathing treatments - same stuff Justin has been on for ages. Yippie. Dave took him to the doc (only because we needed a doc note to go back to school) and the doc thought he sounded croupy again - gave him another oral steroid and we are now to do treatments twice a day until his 9 month visit. Ugh.

Justin and Baby Morgan

We went over to Shad and Shannon's on Sunday night. After Justin opened Morgan's present for Shannon - he wanted to hold the baby. I love that he asked if he could hold her - he's such a sweet boy. Shannon- being a mom 3 times over - didn't mind the germ infested 3 year old holding her 3 week old (he did wash his hands).

I was reminded how far Kyle has come in 6 months- sweet Morgan's little head bobbed all over the place- :)

Kyle - 6 month stats

Kyle had his 6 month appointment today- he's doing well. Back on track for weight etc.

Weight - 15lb 9oz  (Justin was 5lbs heavier at 6 months)
Length - 26
Head - 17.25

Doc says it's okay to start weaning him off the night feedings. Yippie!

We need to work on sitting - he is super wobbly and can't really sit by himself even for a second. The doctor was not impressed with his sitting demonstration.

But look Doc - I'm cute - right?

Justin at 6 months..was working on the sitting - even if it was briefly- it was impressive with that huge head to hold up!

And look - I have some hair at 6 months too..the new kid..he's got nothin!

Kyle has started on solid foods - I was not in a rush. Cereal and fruits thus far- maybe we'll venture in to some vegetables soon. I'm not making baby food (shocking I know) - I laugh when people ask me this question. Gerber babies all the way in this house - I can barely make myself food - when would I make baby food - in my sleep - wait no - I don't sleep either.. ;)  Kudos to you ladies managing to make your own baby food!

Thanks Mom-Mom and Pop-Pop

Dave and I had a great time exploring Seattle while Mom-Mom and Pop-Pop watched Justin and Kyle for FOUR DAYS!  I think they were ready to head back to Philly today to get some rest!
