Tanya at 33 Weeks

I swear Tanya's belly popped out a little more this week.  It now looks like she's hiding a basketball under her shirt.  We are spending our first Christmas in Texas, despite living here for 3 years...and it's snowing.  It was 70 degrees yesterday but it was about 35 today and the wind is howling...made for some interesting shots.  Merry Xmas!!!

Baby Shower in New Jersey

Mom and Lori threw us a wonderful shower in New Jersey over the weekend.  About 30 of our friends and family were there to help us celebrate the upcoming arrival.  Baby Barnaby received lots of great Eagles, Phillies and Iowa gear and some other cool stuff as well.  We also celebrated Christmas on Sunday with Mom, Dad, Lori, Kenny, Ethan, Aunt Carol and Uncle Ed.  And then we celebrated Tanya's birthday on Monday.

Ethan had more fun opening the box than he had with the toy we got him.

Baby Shower in Dallas

Some wonderful friends hosted a baby shower for me this weekend. Connie and Karen flew in for the occasion and Sandy drove up from Austin. It was great to see everyone! I don't have any good pics from the shower- but I think Connie does so maybe I'll post some more later!

Connie, Sandy, Karen and I before we left for the shower:

Dick and Sue sent some flowers to the shower:

Reinie somehow found this Rocky onesie in Dallas:

Tara let Lily pick something out of her box of baby stuff to give to the "baby in Aunt Tanya's tummy" and she picked out this cute Hawkeye blanket:

Here is the baby room post-shower -the baby furniture is coming this week - this is starting to get a bit more "real"......

Thanks again to Darcie, Shannon, Katie, Connie and Sandy for hosting a fabulous shower! ;)

Thanksgiving

Dick, Sue, Lori, Kenny and Ethan came to visit us for Thanksgiving. It was great to have them in town for the weekend! Thankfully Sue did most of the cooking ;)

Dave got a lesson from the master on carving the turkey.

Ethan was entertained by Winnie and she was great around him.

We went and cut down our Christmas tree on Friday.
