Here you go..

EVERYTHING is yellow if you ask Justin what color something is- but he's happy to hand you the correct block if you ask for it. I really think he just enjoys saying YEWOW.

Another favorite is that he's finally using please and thank you - it's so darn cute every time he says it.

One morning last week I was getting ready for work and Dave had got him out of bed. Next thing I know I hear a little voice say "knock, knock" and then he knocked. It was a sweet way to start the day. It cracks me up the things kids pick up from us!

He loves to take me by the hand and drag me around. He makes me "sit" wherever he's playing. And if I'm not close enough he makes me move closer. If I'm not paying enough attention he takes my face and turns it back toward him.

He is also enjoying the camera - I took some more pics tonight and he kept saying "more" after each one.

He knows what football is and lets you know when it's on TV. He even said touchdown this weekend.

I could probably write a post about all the things that make me crazy too...like the FIT he throws when I put the ipad away after we've talked to somebody (or if somebody doesn't answer!)..but I'll keep those to myself for now..

I'm just trying to soak in every moment with him - sometimes I don't mind when he needs a little extra snuggling before bed (as long as it's not nightly!). I know soon enough he'll be too cool for his Mommy's hugs and kisses!

Road Trip to Austin

We took a road trip to Austin last weekend to visit friends. It was nice to get away and catch-up with some of my favorite people! I didn't get pics with Sandy's clan and I wish I would have. I was busy trying to figure out if I could take video with the camera and didn't end up with any photos or videos. We did get some pics with Sarah and Mike.  Justin had fun throwing the ball for their sweet puppy dog to chase -and I think Samson enjoyed having a person closer to his size to play with! 

We had some AWESOME BBQ at Opies in Spicewood Springs on Sunday. If you are ever in the area- it's worth the stop!

Lovely Weather!

It has been gorgeous out the last couple of days so we have taken advantage of it! Yesterday we drove to Fort Worth to go to the zoo. Daddy practiced using his new camera and Justin really enjoyed the animals - especially the monkeys!

Today we went for a walk before we headed over to the park.  Justin spotted the fire truck across the street so we went over and said hello. The nice fireman let Justin up in the truck - he didn't want to leave the fire station!

Post-Christmas

Dick and Sue left today and Justin went back to daycare. When I brought him home tonight and was getting him out of the car he looked at me and said "mom-mom" and I said- no she had to go home she's not here today. And then he said "pop-pop" and I had to say - no pop-pop went with her too.  It was so sad! Then he said "daddy" and I finally could say - YES - Daddy is inside let's go see him!

Needless to say -we had a great time while Mom-Mom and Pop-Pop. Here are some additional photos!
