Tara and Lily!

Tara and Lily came to visit one of our first weekends in town! Justin and Kyle loved having them here! They made pancakes, cupcakes and went to the Rodeo/Stock show that was in town - which Justin calls the "radio" whenever he says it.

She actually reads..it's strange to me to listen to!
Hard to believe she's as old as she is!

Headed to the "radio"

New school!

I was worried about Justin adjusting to a new school. He had some wonderful little friends in Dallas. He has done really well- he is pretty easy at drop off and is never quite ready to leave when I pick up! His new teacher is Ms. Sondra and she's been great with him. All of the girls in his class have similar names and I can't keep them straight - Ella, Ellie, Millie, Maggie, Sophie..the boys I have down- Ryan, Jacob, Lucas.

Kyle on the other hand had a rough start. He had been sick for weeks which didn't help I am sure. His teacher is so sweet though and I know he's in good hands. He cries every day when we cross over Maple and he realizes where we are going. Breaks my heart! His class is pretty small -think there are 6 of them in there.

I know he will adjust. I personally think he misses his partner on crime- little Jack from Dallas. Those two were both ornery as all get out. Or maybe I just miss seeing Jack!

Some pics of the "park" at the a school. Which is Justin's favorite part.  Second favorite part may be that he gets to ride a bus when they go on field trips! The school also has a cafeteria where the bigger kids go for meals- and a nice gym for bad weather days!

Our stuff!

The moving truck arrived in Omaha on Sunday. Not as quickly as we would have liked- but not much we could do about it! Dave had gone back to Texas but Grandma and Grampa were here to help! Thank you so much for being here!!

They loved being tossed in to the blanket pile - Kyle was a bit easier to toss :)

Empty!

They love eating on the front porch!

Omaha!

We stayed fairly close to home the first few days here cause the boys were sick. We did check out the park that is not far from us and then Friday we decided to try the zoo. Connie was super sweet and sent us a membership! We're looking forward to going back again - it is a nice zoo - and has lots of indoor stuff which means we can even enjoy it in the winter!

Justin had been asking to go to the John Deere store- so I found one and we went to visit on Friday afternoon! ;)  It was not as big as the one in McKinney - and the tractors were locked - but he had fun anyway and they had a nice toy selection inside for him to gaze at! I am sure we will be back!

Grandma came to town Friday afternoon - finally! Justin was asking all week when she was going to get there. Dave left to head back to Texas on Saturday. And Grampa surprised the boys Saturday! They were SUPER excited to see him - and his truck!

Kyle shot off the porch when Grampa pulled up!

The move!

Our moving truck arrived on September 15, 2014. A date Justin had been repeating to everyone for weeks! The boys enjoyed watching the movers and our favorite babysitter Noemi came over to lend us a hand that morning while we directed the movers and finished up some last minute things.

They were there all day and we were in the car ready to hit the road around 5:30. This may be a good time to mention that Justin had diarrhea and that both boys were incredibly snotty and coughing and in need of breathing treatments. Good times. The kids konked out immediately in the car but we only made it to Gainseville, TX that night with all the coughing. Stopped for dinner and breathing treatments and tried to get some sleep.

Tuesday was a long day in the car with several stops for Justin's "issues." We made it to our rental in Omaha around 6 that night. They boys enjoyed running around the big empty house. Lucky for them it was empty the next 4 days!!

We will miss Noemi!
Checking out the truck!

Asleep quickly- but not for long enough ;)

Hotel breathing treatments- for both!

Playing in the empty house!
