January

January is flying by! I can't believe it's almost the end of the month. I was trying to remember what we've been up to!

Kyle has been to see a pulmonologist for his coughing problems. We had another rough week this month - we're trying some new medicines - so we'll see! He's on a reflux medicine now - and I'm not sure if his sudden desire to eat us out of house and home is because he's finally feeling good enough to want to eat like a hog - or if it's just a growth spurt! When we get home from school he SCREAMS BLOODY MURDER until you feed him dinner. It's comical- but also gives one quite the headache.

Mommy went to Florida for a Girl's weekend...which was fabulous! Karen came down too and we had fun running around with my mom! Nice to be kid-free for a weekend!

MLK day we put our zoo membership to use (thanks Aunt Carol and Uncle Ed!) and enjoyed a wonderful January day checking out the animals.

Justin has been spending a lot of time riding his bike in circles in our driveway- it makes me dizzy. Sometimes we make it up to the parking lot at the end of the road to ride bigger circles there. Kyle mostly walks around outside dragging a golf club behind him. We have been playing tee-ball as well!

We went to a soccer party yesterday for Justin's friend's birthday. What a great place- it was an indoor soccer field and they just ran kids back and forth for an hour. Kyle even had fun! It's amazing to me how he takes to the athletic stuff- whereas Justin just didn't at that age at all. He was kicking a soccer ball around and trying to do the obstacle course.

We went to the toy store today to pick up some birthday presents - and I took some video. I just love taking Justin to the toy store. He gets so excited about EVERYTHING. It's fun to watch.

Phew...that's a long post! I can't believe Justin's 4th birthday is just around the corner!

Happy New Year!

We had Maxine, Rob, Lucy and Lauren and Adam, Apryl and Hazel over for a little NYE party that ended before 8pm..It was fun to see everyone! All parents look forward to the day when we can let the kids just hang out by themselves in the other room while we hang out and chat..I think we have a couple of years before the young ones are willing to cooperate..
