Who needs sleep..?

Lots happening around here. I feel like my life is bullet points.

• I haven't had a chance to say- the Hill Country rocked. Super sad that Karen was rained out and stuck in Chicago- but Connie and I attempted to drink her share of cold beers. It was fun. (way fun). Sarah met us in Fredericksburg for some shopping one day too.
• Kyle is doing better after the croup episode - he went back to daycare today.
• Justin had another successful haircut - he ate about 8 dum dums in the process- but hey- whatever it takes. 
• Justin pooped in the potty yesterday. Not the big potty- the gross little one that sits on the ground. That thing disgusts me. It's gross. But he pooped in it. We now have an M&M reward system we are trying. I may have to offer more M&M's when he goes in the normal potty...I can't take that gross little thing sitting on my floor for much longer.
• Justin was up most of the night last night- had a fever - and pooped 400 times. He of course wanted M&M's each time. (Did I mention Dave is out of town?)
• Justin saw the allergist today - did the allergy tests. He's not allergic to ANYTHING. He just gets colds all the time. Awesome. I guess it's good news - but seriously? He did prescribe him Augmentin for a sinus infection - which evidently tastes terrible. I'm going back to the pharmacy to have it flavored tomorrow- why they don't offer this automatically for terrible tasting things for 3 years olds- I'm not sure. But there is no way I will get him to take it as is. I totally gagged him with it tonight- I thought he was going to throw up.
• So I stayed home from work again today with Justin - as I wasn't quite sure what was going on with him. Fever hasn't come back. He has had major poopisodes. I've laid off the Miralax for now. Hopefully back to daycare tomorrow.
• Mom Mom and Pop Pop arrive on Wed - yay! Cleaning lady comes tomorrow - yay! 

I have some videos I uploaded to You Tube- but I don't have time to look at them - I must go to bed before the night erupts with screaming children. I need more than 3 hours of sleep tonight.

The reason I have not slept...

Croup

Croup.. What croup? Do I look sick?

Kyle was miserable and had a nasty cough that had me worried tonight - so we headed to the ER around 12:30 or so. He was the hit of the ER- such a happy guy- then he would cough and the whole ER staff diagnosed him from the hall.

A breathing treatment and steroid later- we are waiting to be discharged. It's going to be a long day at work tomorrow.

Time for an update!

We're due for a blog update! Here is what's been going on:

• Justin's poop problem is still a problem. As of yesterday we are doubling the Miralax and feeding him "dinosaur raisins" (prunes) to help clean him out. So that's awesome. He's also decided that peeing on the floor is fun - so we're dealing with that. I realize someday he will be potty trained but that sure feels like a long ways off! Today we brought back inside the gross little potty that sits on the floor. He peed in it like 6 times. He yelled "AND GO TO THE FARM" after that (cause Grandma has mentioned he needs to be peeing in the potty before he goes to the farm). Then he proceeded to walk out of the bathroom and pee on the floor. He's like a dog. 
• EAR INFECTION!  Yup - Justin has an ear infection in the tube-less ear. So he's on an antibiotic  which I hope will also clear up what I think is a sinus infection.
• Kyle was a whopping 14lbs at his 5 month visit- so he's back on the growth curve. Still a peanut - but the doc was happy with his progress.
• I've been traveling for work some- off to Houston again tomorrow and spent most of last week in D.C - where it was BEAUTIFUL and Connie was in town too - so that was fun! And one night I had dinner with my friend Shannon - love catching up with friends!

That pretty much catches us up to this weekend! Last night we went to a charity auction for the daycare. It was fun to hang out with the other parents minus kids! I ended up winning the "art" done by Kyle's class.  They had a western themed week leading up to the "Buckaroo Bash." One of the mom's took photos of ALL of the kids at school and they sold the photos for $5 - see below. They were super cute.

Today Justin went to a birthday party - and then we stopped to see the Madsen's for a bit - and well Justin crashed when we got home and I can't seem to get him to wake up.

Kyle is enjoying Masters Sunday with Daddy.

Next weekend is GIRLS WEEKEND! Connie and Karen are flying in and we're heading to the hill country- I am SO EXCITED! I'm sure Dave is too- lol.
