Tummy Time still isn't a favorite- but you'll see he can do it for a little bit before he starts to get whiny, then downright angry.

Grandma learned how to use the Flip Camera while she was here. I won't post the ones of her singing to Justin - as I value my life- but here is one of him chatting at her.

Grandma was here..

Grandma came in from Iowa to babysit Justin this weekend while Dave and I went to Austin for Sarah and Mike's wedding. Justin stayed home from daycare Friday and Monday and Grandma sent fun pictures to me while I was at work - I wish daycare could do that! ;) Justin and I told Grandma to come back whenever she wants and stay as long as she wants - we miss her already! Thanks for babysitting, Grandma!

Chatting

Second week at daycare went fine. Today and Monday he's hanging out with Grandma - she flew in to watch Justin while Dave and I go to Sarah's wedding in Austin!

Lily at Preschool Graduation

Lily had her preschool graduation yesterday. Here's some video Tara sent us and a pic mom sent. We're looking forward to seeing her in June when we go home!

Back at Work!

Well, I've survived the first couple days at work. Below is a pic of Justin while I was getting ready this morning. After his first full day at daycare he slept for almost 10 hours last night! I hope he keeps that up - makes the work-day a little bit easier if I'm able to SLEEP all night!

I made Dave drop Justin off on Monday so I avoided having a total meltdown - and I went to pick him up after work. His little smile when he realized mommy was there was precious - so precious that I had to go visit him at lunch today just to see it!

Winnie

Winnie doesn't really like it when I let Justin cry. We were doing "tummy time" the other day and he started wailing and Winnie just couldn't figure out why I was letting this "thing we brought home one day" flail around and cry. I'm sure Winnie sniffing on Justin did not help his tummy time attitude.

First Day at Daycare

I took Justin to daycare yesterday so I could go get a haircut -so that I look human again before starting back to work on Monday. The sweet ladies at daycare made this while I was gone:



I think I'm going to make Dave drop Justin off on Monday. I've been crying all week about the fact that somebody else is going to be spending their days with him. Maybe if I don't drop him off that first day it won't be so bad. I'm not worried about Justin - I know he'll be fine - and I don't mind going back to work in general - it's just not fair that somebody else gets to enjoy MY BABY all day every day! If only I could leave work at 3pm every day it wouldn't seem so bad!

Welcome Katherine Rebecca!

We are VERY excited to have a new baby girl on the Prinz side of the family! I am SO jealous that Andrea is just starting maternity leave....and I have to go back to work on Monday. :(

Meet Justin's 3rd cousin - Katherine Rebecca Stone - 8lbs 8oz.
We can't wait to meet her in August when we all head to the Jersey shore for a family vacation!

Quick Update

Things seem like they've been a bit hectic around here- I'm not sure where the last couple weeks have gone! Reagan came for a visit from NY and then Grandma came in for a few days to hang out. She babysat while Dave and I went out for dinner to celebrate our 2nd anniversary and helped me out with Justin at night...his good sleeping habits disappeared while he had a cold. Hopefully we'll get him back on track before I go back to work! Of course he slept for 8 hours when Dave put him to bed last Thursday...guess Daddy is just going to have to be on bedtime duty when he's not traveling for work!

We've been to the doctor for Justin's 2 month check-up (25 inches long and over 14lbs) and he has finally finished battling a nasty cold. We go back to the doctor this week for his vaccinations - the doc didn't want to give them to him while he was sick.

I only have one week of maternity leave left - getting kind of sad about having to leave him at daycare all day..
